Van den Bosch syndrome is characterized by intellectual deficit, choroideremia, acrokeratosis verruciformis, anhidrosis, and skeletal deformities. It has been observed in a single kindred. The syndrome is transmitted as an X-linked recessive trait and may be caused by a small Xchromosome deletion.
